Description

Login Information: If you are a current Middlebury faculty or staff, use Middlebury SSO to log in before you select the Apply button.

Faculty professional development funding (FPDF) is provided through the Dean of the Faculty. See the FPDF webpage for details. 

How to Apply: To apply for FPDF each fiscal year, submit a new application using the green Apply button. This will be your initial request. Once your application is reviewed and your eligibility and yearly allocation confirmed, you will then be able to submit additional FPDF requests through your original application. Existing applications are linked above the green Apply button to the right. 

Notes for new fiscal year: For all activity now (after July 1, 2025) you will need to create a new application for FY26.

FPDF requests are typically reviewed every Friday.

Please Note: If you submit a second application, we will ask you to go back to your original application and enter in a second request. This request will not be reviewed until this happens.

Viewing Your Awards and Expenses: Approved amounts and expenses you've submitted through Oracle will be visible on your application's Decision Details tab (screenshot).
